Back to School Bash 2024

Thank you for choosing to serve the foster community and volunteer with us for our Back to School Bash! Please read through all of the following information:

Please arrive by 8:30am. It is important for us go over the plan for the day, get a tour of the facility and learn how you will be serving. If you can help set up, you are welcome to arrive at 8:00am.
When you arrive, please park in front of the Steven’s Street Student Center on Short Street.
Pizza will be provided for lunch.

If you are bringing a child to volunteer with you, please make sure they are with you at all times. Children 16 and older may volunteer independently. (If you think your child can volunteer by themselves and they are under age 16, we will handle that on a case by case basis).

We have many things we will be offering at this event.

- snow cones

Some volunteers will be stationed and others will assist families. We plan to pair a volunteer with each family as they arrive. As the volunteer with that family, you will assist them with shopping and help them navigate the event. You will be their personal assistant, so we encourage you to get to know them. Other volunteers will be stationed at one of the following areas: check-in, check-out, lunch, or haircut check-in.
